基隆市華興國小是一個郊區的小學校。我們第一次拜訪它時，搭火車來到七堵，出站後沿鐵道步行，一路經過溪流，爬上山徑，穿過聚落，才在山城的隱密小巷中找到它。 這個過程讓我們回想起小時候，上學、放學時會經過的地方，以及那些獨自探索或結伴同行的童年時光。我們也好奇這所學校的學生，每天上課、回家的路徑經驗有什麼不同？ 依據不同年齡規畫了幾個的地圖工作坊，讓學生從自己的通學路徑出發，分享這個社區的故事。最後完成的作品設置在學校主要建築的立面上，將小朋友的生活經驗與幻想，以童趣的卡通造型轉化成一張地圖。

Keelung Municipal Hua-Xing Elementary School is a small school in the suburbs. When we first visited it, we took the train to Qidu. After leaving the station, we walked along the railroad tracks, passed streams, climbed mountain trails, and passed through settlements before finding it in the hidden alleys of the mountain town. This process reminds us of the places we passed when we were young, going to and leaving school, and those childhood days when we explored alone or in a company. We were also curious about the different experiences in the paths that the students at this school take to get to class and back home each day. Several map workshops were planned according to age groups, allowing students to share the stories of the community from their own paths of commuting to school. The final work was installed on the façade of the primary school building, transforming children's life experiences and fantasies into a map in the form of a childish cartoon.
